Small Solar Water Cleaner Could Save Lives

The Desolenator uses the power of the sun to turn seawater into drinking water.

Creating a product with a small footprint, the company is making waves in the clean-tech sector. The product can clean salt, brackish or dirty water from nearby streams or rivers. Desolenator recently took second place at the recent Climate-KIC’s CleanLaunchpad awards in Valencia, winning them a grant towards development and a place on the Climate-KIC Accelerator program, the first real-life business school specifically for clean-tech entrepreneurs, run by Imperial College.

The company is passed the proof of concept and is looking for funding to bukld to full commercialization through an Indiegogo campaign.
